I just found out yesterday that some of my work won a Telly Award. The program, Healthy Marriages, is produced by Suzanne Corbett of Slay Media in association with St. Louis Healthy Marriage Coalition and STL TV (that’s where I come in) was awarded a Bronze Telly in the Film/TV segment.
I designed and executed the graphics and also edited the program. I guess its time to update my reel, now that I have some award-winning work to include. I’ve uploaded about 8 minutes to youtube, you can watch it below once it becomes available.
I’m not just a motion graphics guy… I can run a camera too! I’ve been concentrating on showing of my graphics work, and have neglected sharing my camera work. Here are a few teasers from a series I produce at STL TV “City Life Neighbor to Neighbor”.
The idea behind City Life is to tell the story of the neighborhoods of the City of St. Louis through the words of its residents and business people. So we interview long-time residents, new residents and business owners from each neighborhood and let them tell us about the history of the neighborhood.
In each of the clips shown here, I have done all the lighting, camera work, audio and editing. Some clips include part of the show intro which was not my work, but all other graphics are my creations.

I have shot a large amount of video of downtown St. Louis, MO… and I’m making it available as stock footage. It was all shot with a Canon XL-1 camcorder and most shots include nat sound.
Subjects include The Arch/City Skyline, People, Traffic, Other Landmarks & Weather… here is a sample of some of my City Skyline shots.
